My PS3 doesn't. Friend and I have each others PSN accounts on both of our PS3s. We don't know each others passwords, but we use them when we go over or want to share something on PSN.

looks like the wiiU does not offer account sharing,  so I guess every game you buy is only playable on 1 console instead of 2 consoles like the PS3 (dont know about the 360). And I think that is a major thing people needs to take into consideration when buying the system.

My brother (who lives in another country) and I share the same account on the VITA and PS3, so when we buy games digitally we will be able to play those games without spending more money. I think that is something great.  Hopefully Sony will continue to offer this :).

And if the system dies, if you bought lots of downloadable stuff you are basically screwed because you wont be able to download them again.

this sucks for WiiU owners.
