Some would argue that Uncharted, particularly Uncharted 2, changed the gaming industry as it sparked an unprecedented wave of games shifting to cinematic experiences. Sure, games like Call of Duty and Halo were also influential titles, but not to the extent of Uncharted. Besides, Call of Duty and Halo mainly influenced shooters, while Uncharted influenced third-person games, and really the gaming industry in general in terms of pacing, set pieces, atmosphere, seemless cutscenes, polish, etc.
You can see it clearly with many older franchises being 'modernized' to be more cinematic while changing their roots, with games like Splinter Cell: Conviction, Socom 4, inFAMOUS 2, Hitman: Absolution, Tomb Raider, etc. And without the Ps3, there would probably have never been Uncharted. So it makes sense to give the console credit. There's even been an article written that expresses Uncharted's impact on the gaming industry here
