I find it interresting how alike the ramblings of OP and NolSinkler are.

I guess religions have similar argumentative techniques no matter how new or old they are.

How is a guy saying that everything is a conspicary ........compared to a guy actually quote against what a person is making out of thin air?

They both quote and parrot their respective religious doctrines. These doctrines are also the single context that they approach the discussion in.

The christians are gonna quote the bible and use it as authority, while the satanist guy is gonna repeat stuff he read on his satanist websites. They both derive and base their arguments from their sources of faith. The similarity is striking.

Read what you just wrote.

The situation is saying the bible says x and the guy responded with the quotes saying it doesn't. Please tell how quoting a satan site is the same as quoting the actual source.

The quoting of the bible as authority is based on what actually is being said and isn't same as quoting a random satan website on why it's true in which is the source of the discussion.

What you did was just group them because you wanted to discredit them because both not based on the actual argument but a personal view on religious people. I seen this enough to know where it's coming from. If we were to change this to any other discussion and it's the same.

Plus the discussion of conspicaries further prove the idea that there nothing comparable besides them just arguing.

Now I have to say your bias is pretty obvious at this point and are you going decline that this infact is not your reasoning?

Yes, I'm biased. And so are you. There's no getting away from bias in religious discussions.

What do you mean by the bible being "The actual source". Of course an old book like the bible is fancier than some shady website, but I was assuming that whatever branch of satanism OP follows, they have some kind of holy script or doctrine of their own. All religious texts look the same to me weather they are electronic, written on runes, ten or ten thousand years old, they all seem equally grounded in reality.

@bold. Yea, that was pretty much what I was doing. Because they both seem similar to me, I wanted to point it out to see if i could get an interresting response. Except, I don't like to generalize when it comes to all religious people, so replace "religious" with "deeply religious" or  something along those lines in the bolded sentence.

I LOVE ICELAND!
