I brought it home and the touch screen had a dent in it and it was damage/not working. I went back to Gamestop while on the phone with a Nintendo customer rep to "show them" that I just purchased the system (I could have been lying I suppose but I wasn't). The Gamestop guy pretty much informed me that if I got the warranty on the system through them then it would have been wasted right away and they would have given me another system (but I would then have to purchase another warranty for that one or something like that). Pretty much I just sent it into Nintendo and they sent me another one for free. |
Believe me, I was surprised as well... especially on a launch day where consoles are very limited.
But though all these trials, I have come out stronger. Huzzah!
