This doesn't affect me. I'll be using my Wii for gamecube so I'll keep it out for Wii games instead of moving on to Wii U.

-my personal edit. Apparently some people can get confused and think I'm flamming. To clarify the Wii U cannot play gamecube discs while the Wii can. Since I have many gamecube discs and play them occasionally I'll need to leave my Wii plugged up. Because of this it makes sense for me to just play my Wii games on Wii instead of on Wii U.
