Why? Reviewers compare 3DS games to console games too. How else do you explain the chronic complaints about Kid Icarus: Uprising's control scheme, which follows the handheld standard for shooters? Or New Super Mario Bros 2's sub-80 reviews for "a lack of innovation." Or Paper Mario: Sticker Star's sub-80 reviews for "innovation we do not like." There is no double standard here.
