Aside from this complaints about the price, and the demographic they're targeting, he (himself) seems to have a problem with something called a "learning curve." Something that we as gamers; NES,SNES, PS, XBox etc have been dealing with for generations, console wise with no real complications.

He's pretty much implying that no gamer wants to learn a how to teach their thumbs and fore-finger on how to utilize a (brand new) console with a different but unique button layout. He feels that most gamers who want to try the Wii U will be easily alienated by it's own button layout and not want to play/buy it.

It's rather silly to think that gamers who switched from Nintendo to Sony weren't happy with the new layout of the ps controller thus affecting their sales that they easily took from Nintendo.

People might not like change for a lot of things in their lives, but most gamers (not all) don't really care wether they have have to re-teach their fingers to use a different controller.
