Move - 15 Million
Kinect - 20 Million

Whod have thought they would be so close considering the media love and lies that came with Kinect?

Interesting to see if Wonderbook will be a Million seller.

So max of 8m v 20m

awesome kinect performance "given the price"

max of 8m? Do you really think almost every single Move owner has 2? Nope...

And don't tell me you're going to say "some are still on store shelves. Shipped v sold." because then it would be awfully hypocritical to quote a shipped Kinect number as a barometer for install base.

Sorry if it was mentioned later I know this is an oldish post and I'm just reading through all the comments butttt. Don't forget that a lot of kinect units are sold for use other than just playing games on kinect the thing has become the go to tool to be used in so many varieties of college project based around sensors and they even done a feature on AI powered robots on Penn and Tellers show which were constructed of 4 kinect units with propellers on them, I doubt the move would have so many types of other uses given the ease of hooking a Nintendo wii remote to a PC and how much longer they have been available for those type of projects.

That said tho against the Move, I'm 99% sure that sonys early figures were all based on sales of both the Move and the Navigation unit as 2 seperate sales of move hardware.

Edit - Sorry if unclear I was just stating that shipped units =/= install base at all.
