At this point I'd give all of my money for a bad imitation of 2D Metroid.
Even if Nintendo don't let them use the name, they should use the publicity from this to make a Metroid-like 3DS game. It wouldn't have any competition.
(No, having a bunch of key-lock 'Metroidvania' upgrades is not enough to qualify)
