Ima go out on a limb and say that harada thought the Wii brand was for kiddies and casuals, thus simplified gameplay made sense, in which case, lolololololol.

Ima go out on a limb and say that Harada saw the sales of the 3DS version of Tekken 6 and thought 'I don’t want this repeated on the Wii U'.  So he wanted to play to the strengths of the Wii U, which is the tablet, but Nintendo was not having that, and thus the game is going to be sent out to die, again.

This game on the Wii U is destined not to do very well regardless of what they do. The least they could do is keep it intact for the most part and hope some Tekken will be made out of it.
