There is also Watch Dogs, a game that has been hailed as the second coming by the gaming press when it was unveiled. And these four games are a big deal, because it implies that Ubisoft hasn't integrated the Wii U in multiplatform development yet.

Remember what the no-quality-third-party-games-for-the-Wii movement was all about: The system not being able to run 1:1 ports of games. The Wii U can, but we already got signs from numerous big publishers that they won't bring their games to Nintendo's console. This isn't about potential PS4/720 games not coming, this is about PS3/360 games not coming. We are talking about ports that wouldn't even need to move 500k copies on the Wii U to make it worth the additional investment and it's known since a long time that the Wii U is coming. This isn't a system that was announced and launched within six months.

I understand your concern, and it's valid, but in light of the Ubi exclusives the WiiU is getting, one simply cannot say Ubi is not, overall, backing the U.

BUT, having said that, do you believe that their not porting those big name multi-plat games to the U makes a statement regarding U support for that market? In other words do you think that them saying "We're not releasing those games on the U" means that they want to set it in the kiddy corner, so to speak?
