It's the most expensive of all Nintendo consoles at launch.
Also, it is offering a similar spec range to its last gen competition, so really the only thing justifying that price is the padlet, from a market perspective.
All in all it is too expensive, and they will have to lower the price early next year like they did with the 3DS. Marketshare is paramount to them, so they will do it.
