3DS is being inconsistent in Japan.
While NSMB2, Nintendogs+Cats, Brain Age and some others will struggle to compare to the sales of their predecessors , Animal Crossing is already making the DS version cry for its mommy; during the week of 27 November 2005, VGC shows Wild World to have sold 340k. Well over twice this amount for New Leaf! Of course, this can't possibly maintain since no game will sell that much in Japan. Ever. (The DS version finished significantly over 5m.) But it's still unbelievably decent.
I don't get why AC is doing so well while some others aren't. Can't wait to compare its legs to its predecessor. To keep up this proportional lead, it'll need something over 300k (~250k physical?) next week. Don't think it can keep up quite that well, but it'll do a hell of a lot nonetheless.
