I can only think of 5th Cell (Scribblenauts, Drawn to Life) that's succeeded primarily by targeting the handheld market. Although tie-in games do quite well on the system as well, of course.

Tie-in games do well?  Color me surprised.  I always wondered who bought the handheld version of games when the main event is on a console.  I guess that is why they are made though.
