The control scheme in the Wii U is a DS with the top screen replaced with a TV. Personally I've never heard people saying that the DS was not intuitive. Innovated enough? Well, that was easy to say. Nobody has innovated so much like Nintendo did last gen in the last 20 years. It was very unlikely that they were going to innovate this gen more than the last one, they aren't magicians after all. |
Not innovative enough for it sell the system on its own. I think its apples and oranges when comparing it to 2004's DS, better yet the DS was not a big success until it recieved games like nintendogs and brain training. Those same titles no longer carry any weight in the industry. Do you personally think the Wii U's pad is going to appeal to the casual gamers, and do you not think that its lack of power will limit its appeal to the more core audience?
