Let's test Pachter theory

Wii U will sell to Nintendo Hardcore fans only

I have played maybe 2-3 Wii games in the last 1 year and completed only 1 of them (specifically Zelda Skyward Sword). My kids still play Dora and Wii Sports and other such games on Wii (they are 4 year old girls).

I think I have played 5-10 X360 games in the last 1 year and completed most of them where they had campaign. Skyrim, Fallout New Vegas, Gears of War 1-3, NFS Hot Pursuit, Halo games, and some Kinect games.

For my PS3, I think I have 200+ games on my www.psnprofiles.com trophy list thing. It is my primary gaming console and I play almost every exclusive and I complete 40-50 % of them and I play most 3rd party games on PS3 as well.

I also play a few Steam games and even tried Battlefield 3 on Origin. I also have Android market games on my Kindle Fire and iOS games of note on my iPhone that I do try out and play (especially when free and well reviewed).
...

I pre-ordered the Wii U as soon as I could and currently have I think 5-10 games either already pre-ordered on intended buy list which are all in just November. I'd say the Pachter theory fails to understand, categorize, and evaluate which "Gamers" are interested in Wii U.

Gamer's that care about games and enjoying games... are interested in Wii U because it will offer something fresh and existing and it will have best in class motion, stellar traditional dual-analog from 3rd parties and something fresh and new with the touchscreen/hybrid controller.

So in short... F*ck Michael Pachter analysis.
