Impossible! The funny thing is, your vote is much more likely to matter in local elections, especially in non-presidential elections.

Pretty much. Here in California I could write-in Adolf Hitler as my presidential vote and it'd mean as much as voting for either Obama or Romney, but local measures, local candidates, and even some state-wide propositions are a different story.
