I played Shenmue 2 on Xbox. Dreamcast dissapeared before I had purchasing power and PS2 backwards compatibility was a huge selling point. Shenmue, at least Shenmue 2, is a masterpiece. Though frustrating at times was groundbreaking. The terrible acting and translation quirks made the game amazing. I'll never look at a toy dispensing machine the same way again.
Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
