Does anyone else feel like there is no hype for Nintendo this Holiday?

I dont see how that is being dramatic, there are some people out there who were just planning on buying it for one game at launch, and considering that much of the launch line up is multiplat anyway... it's not farfetched.

There must be at least one game they can buy until then, and knowing what games are going to be coming in the months following and the Nintendo 1st party games we will see eventually

Apparently not, and what is coming out in the months to follow and what we will see "eventually" is irrelevant, we are talking strictly about launch, it would make more sense for a person to just wait it out for the games they actually want to play and buy the system then IMHO. ANd nothing is gauranted, im still waiting for my Mario Tennis Wii game.
