Well this seems to have become the AC3 discussion thread, so:

-Connor is wooden and I don't like him at all.
-Do you support the revolutionaries or are you just using them? Make up your damned mind already.
-On the other hand, I have a newfound respect for Shaun, and William seems like a nice guy, if a little too intense.
-Achilles is great.
-Haytham was cool. I miss Haytham.
-The combat is largely the same as before, except even simpler, because apparently it wasn't easy enough already.
-Why can't I grab ledges when I'm falling?
-I do like how it's more difficult to use firearms now with the long reload times.
-Boston is completely empty. Seriously. Florence, Venice, Rome and Constantinople all had shops on every street corner. Tailors, blacksmiths, doctors. Boston has like three general stores and nothing else.
-Climbing now involves no skill at all since everything is automated. Climbing trees is really cool, though, and running between them is even better,
-Mail delivery is the worst filler I have ever seen.
-Recruiting assassins actually requires some effort now. Nice.
-Horses are back!
-I love the naval missions and Fort Wolcott especially. The other forts are pretty lame because you can just run in and gung-ho the entire thing.

Better than AC1, better than Revelations, not as good as AC2 or Brotherhood. On the whole, I'm a little bit disappointed, and it's about an 8.5 for me so far.

It would be great to have a pro/con list like this from someone who isn't british and therefore isn't completely biased against the game...

Pah, if they gave me some sort of reason to like the Patriots at all, I would have no problem with it. I've always admired the founding fathers, and my admiration is fading a little bit now.
