I think TalonMan is pretty much on point. If it's a question of resources then why not let us users actually have the ability to DONATE to vgchartz? I know I would , as it would be beneficial to the site.
I personally liked VGC 2.0 the best. I literally could spend hours on 1 site without getting bored and never getting lost. A Balance must be met for Site navigation and quality and quantity of content. People don't want a cluttered mess or a site that lacks severely in content.
I'm not claiming to know better than anyone else, just giving my opinion . I've been coming to this site since early 08, so i've been through most of its' changes.
