but if tax really changes every few months and not only once every few years this could be really a reason because that would be too much stciker prices too change all the time.

So you're saying it's OK to advertise the untaxed price but the sticker price at the store needs to already have the tax price included?

Sounds to me like that would confuse the hell out of people.  "I saw the price for $100 in the newspaper so why does it say $107 on the box?"

And our recepts do show a full breakdown of the taxes.  Like I said, most people are already well accustomed to calculatig the tax in their head.   They know it says $100 they'll likely pay $107.   If it's $200, they'll likely pay $214.

I think they don't put the taxed price on the stickers so as not to confuse people from the advertised price.  

but it's less confusion to see the price on the sticker and have to pay another price when they have their credit card in their hands 30 seconds later? both would confuse people if you really think that could confuse them but one would be much fairer because people who are not from there simply don't know the tax and don't have that calculation in their head like people who live there and there are also people who are not even able to calculate the most simple math so it would be also much better and fairer for them.
