Yeah I have great respect for Nintendo for that ability. The lack of it is the reason why Microsoft for example has stagnated. It's ridiculous that they're bringing tablets out in 2012 where Apple dominates the tablet market instead of years ago when they had technology already developed and could have established themselves early on as a major player. Of course Nintendo still doesn't see all threats or were slow to respond to them like in the case of staying with cartridges when the N64 was released.
