Vita is doing proportionately worse actually.
10k/week in the US (give or take) given that it's 3x the size of the Japanese market is actually worse than what they're doing in Japan.
The handheld market in the West = kids market. That's it. Good luck beating Nintendo on that, Sony.
Japan is going to be the only market where older teenagers/adults still play handhelds, because in Japan the handheld has replaced the home console for convienance sake. That will never happen in the US.
