Yeah, probably. Back in the day I'd feel threatened by them, would be unable to coexist with them in a classroom, would end up skipping classes to avoid them, would refuse to confess in anybody, and would ultimately end up feeling like a guilty party in a system where my so called authority figures could not be trusted.
