You should be more bummed out about the fact that you're not even able to play those games with your friends online, because Nintendo refuses to include what is now a standard feature in 95% of games that feature some sort of multiplayer component into their own titles.  ZombiU is only featuring local MP because of time constraints, but there is absolutely no reason why simple games like Nintendo Land and NSMBU do not have an online multiplayer compontent.

That is not Nintendo's decisino, that is Ubisofts. The only time Nintendo ever restricted online was for the first year on the Wii. There is no restriction anymore. Any oversight in online is on the devs.

I know that, I said so in my post that Ubisoft didn't include any online functionality because of time constraints.  I wasn't talking about them... I was talking about Nintendo and how neither of their 2 big launch titles Nintendo Land and NSMBU feature online multiplayer of any sort, which is pretty damn puzzling considering the competitive nature of both games.  NSMBU has the new competitive rush mode, and most if not all of Nintendo Land's minigames have a heavy focus on competitive / counter co-op gameplay, which would be even more engaging if you could play with people online anytime you wanted to instead of trying to get 3 or 4 buddies over.

This is one of the reasons why many gamers who switched over to Xbox and PlayStation over the last couple of generations are hesitant to go back to Nintendo as their main system of choice.
