I just had a technological heart attack. A USB flash drive I use for many important documents essentially broke in two as I was pulling it out of my laptop.
WTF! I even went through the hassle of clicking 'eject disk safely'!
I stuck the broken part back in and the pc recognized it and all my files were still there. I managed to pull the whole thing out in one piece but not sure if it still works. I need to back up these irreplaceable files soon but I'm too afraid to put the drive back in.
