When I rewatched Platoon a few weeks back on Blu-ray after I was done I rewatched a bit of it with the German language track the translation was pretty good (still understand most of it since German used to be my native language) but the voice actors they choose where terrible and don't match the voices of the original cast at all.  I think most movies dubbed into German use terrible voice actors.  Also played a bit of Lost Odyseey in German an suprisingly it actually had good voice actors.  For the most part I prefer to watch foreign language movies in their original language.  But overall the US has some pretty good voice actors especially when they use a list talent like they did in Life is Beautiful.

I can only imagine how bad Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon would be if it was dubbed in English. Unwatchable I can imagine.

 

 

Just watch Anger Management. It was my GF first time.  I have turned her into a big Sandler fan. Next week I will finally rent Thats my boy. Cant be that bad. Bedtime Stories was bad. If it is better than CLick then it will have a lot going for it. If it is better than Bedtime Stories then it will at least be watchable.

Actually its pretty good since a large part of the cast dubbed over their own voices and the voices match the original Mandarin for the most part.  The first time I watched it was at a dollar movie with its original voice track.  Das Boot is also very good in English since almost the entire cast dubbed their own voices and the original voice track is a bit of anoying since a lot of the cast have strong regional accents.  Watched Anger Mangement shortly after it came out its pretty good.  Still haven't watched Click all the way through even though I have the DVD.  Not planning to watch Bedtime Stories or That's My Boy anytime soon.  When you look at metascore and imdb ratings then Jack and Jill is Sandlers worst movie by a pretty good margin.  Which makes sense since bad R rated jokes are usually still better then bad PG jokes.
