Is RETRO working on car combat game (like Vigilante 8) for WiiU? Or an adventure game?

if i had my pick i'd take action/adventure over car combat ... although car combat would compliment nintendo's current franchises more completely.

also, that second screen reminds more more of rage than motorstorm.
