Yes.

I deal with a lot of mentally handicapped people and most of them are great! But why would I force my child to have to deal with the hardships associated with it? A quadriplegic can be a great person but the doctor should do everything in his power to save the limbs of his patient. If I could stop my child from having issues of course I would abort it.
