I never said or even inferred that the PS3 couldn't do 1080p. I just pointed to the fact that most games don't. Its not easy to achieve on the system. On the Wii U, however, it is.

Most third party Wii U games announced to date that aren't ports are stated to be 1080p.

Evidently not, since in this thread you hype this up as a great achievement (while no Nintendo game so far has been announced as a native 1080p game).
