How did he acquire this list? It seems strange that there are only 2 nonpsn games that are that res and with 2xAA no less? That doesn't make any sense. What would be the point of 2XAA if that was the native resolution?

AA has nothing to do with resolution. Only a 1080p video played in sub HD doesn't benefit with AA.

One of the biggest benefits of higher resolutions is that they eliminate aliasing. Applying AA to something at that resolution would destroy system performance unless it was simply upscaling the graphics to 1920x1080. The PS3 doesn't have the ram to pull that off with full HD textures much less the GPU strength. Not unless the actual physical textures were SD and there wasn't much going on onscreen.

This just isn't adding up.
