maybe it's also a matter of size for some games. i mean, if i would make a game which nobody would buy only because it has 1080p instead of 720p, i would rather make a 720p downloadable game and would hope that less people think "ohh no my internet is so shit i don't want to download those 1gb" or something.
i mean, for someone like me with horrible internet, that can be the reason why i don't download the demo of the game to see if i like it or not. i often don't dowload demos of games i'm not really sure about because of the size and i am sure that i would have bought few of them if i would have downloaded the demo.
