Of course, I'm not down on Revelations. It's a much better game than RE5. The experiences are different (a game like that lends itself to a console, imo), but I didn't realize you were talking about RE directly. I thought you were talking about the two as a whole and the library they offer. |
I was, you understood me nicely, I was trying to compare the SW ecosystem of the 3DS at launch of RE:R as compared to the SW ecosystem of the PS3 at launch of RE5. I mentioned RE in my reply to you because we were assuming that the PS3 ecosystem catered to the types of people who ended up buying RE5, and so they picked up RE5 after buying a console. I was just curious as to why the 3DS didn't get that fortune, since in my opinion at 1 year after launch the 3DS has better games than the PS3 did 1 year after launch (more j-games support). However, RE5 released I believe 3 years after the PS3 launch, so the comparison is difficult. I would have to compare the ecosystem 3 years after launch of the PS3 to the ecosystem 1 year after launch of the 3DS, and my memory on PS3 j-games support at year 3 is limited. Anyone else that's motivated can jump in and fill the gaps for me.
