I think the 720/PS4 will quickly outpace the Wii U visually though.
My PC with a GTX 570, which isn't exactly bleeding edge anymore, but still a decent card, can take even a middle-of-the-pack game like Sonic Generations and make it look noticably better than the PS3 version. 1080p + tons of anti-aliasing and other effects make a difference.
For higher end games, I think the difference will be even more noticeable.
