I can't eat fried eggs without bread. I sometimes have my morning cereal with hot tea. I can never enjoy a huge sloppy sandwich because they usually fall apart.I feel the need to eat it fast enough before it collapses. Instead of crackers, I break bread pieces and put it in my soup. Instead of steamed vegetable I fry them in olive oil with a splash of salt. I can't stand steamed vegetables but I enjoy them fried to a crisp. Desert after a meal usually makes me sick. I usually just have a nice cup of black coffee. I only drink my coffee black. I like tomatoes in small portions. I ussually pick out any extra tomatoe from my salads or sandwiches. Subway thinks I'm a weirdo when I ask for one slice of tomatoe.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
