Funny that even though the Wii is just a shadow of its former self it can still push out the sales. Years afteer the Wii was still a big player it is still taking names and having to prove itself. Now the othe guys are going to win in Europe and the States years later? They are proud of this? Basically, if this were a race, the wii was a yard from the finish line, laid on its back, and then started inching forward in an attempt to permit the othe big bad HD consoles the chance to catch up. There is no glory in eventtually taking the lead. So now Lego Batman 2 and Just Dance 4 are reminders how dangerous the Wii can still be. Do we se the HD twins pushing motion control much anymore? How about games? Until this month everything was pretty dry on that end as well. What happened? THey realized they did not have to fight their asses off to make any head way. That is what happened.

So when Just Dance comes out and you see the Wii version spanking the others in sales, just remember who the pimp was this last generation.

More like CROSSED the finish line. The next generation begins in a little over a month. Passing the victor AFTER the finish line isn't winning.

Personally, I'm interested to see how the Wii versions of Skylanders Giants and Epic Mickey 2 perform compared to the PS3/360 versions. The Wii version of Skylanders 1 outsold the others by quite a margin.

There's life in the Wii yet, despite Nintendo and 3rd parties apparently doing their damndest to kill it. A price drop to $99USD could even see it make 100 million eventually. If they made this cut in time for the holidays, it might actually have one last decent showing left in it as a JD4/Skylanders Giants player and entry level / budget game machine.
