The Wii U is getting a lot of attention not just because it’s a new console but because of the exclusive games it’s grabbing up from other consoles. Like Bayonetta 2.

One game, which isn’t entirely exclusive, is taking the spotlight today. Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge will be rated Cero Z in Japan, which is their version of an “Adults Only” game rating.

The Wii U is the first console to launch with a “Adults Only” rated game, and part of the reason why Ninja Gaiden received this rating is because the team added decapitations back into the game after removing them from the 360/PS3 versions.

It’s ironic that Nintendo has been battling a “kiddy” image for over a decade now and it now has the first console to launch with a game rated only for adults.
