Borderlands 2 sells over 1milion on 360.

But it's lots of fun to play with good progression, firefights can get real intense in co-op especially on the seccond playthrough. you could ignore all the other stuff after a while, and it's style isn't what made this franchise so successful (tho it helped). 

 

OT: with 124,678 simultanious players I would say the PC version is proabably nearing a million copies as well.

I'll give it a rent, but I played one and it was a huge letdown. From the reviews I've seen, the problems I had with it weren't fixed.

well if you don't like the core gameplay then the game is just not for you, but to say that the game has no substance because you don't like the substance of the game is a bit silly.
