@wfz, oni. Exactly. I told him to start with a Wii and get lots of fun 2nd hand games, and wait till the WiiU gets more casual games exclusive to it, and upgrade in like 1 or 2 years.
The Wii didn't have this competition from its predecessor for this audience imho.
@amp. He wants to get her a gift for her birthday, and she's been nagging him for a Wii.
Also, I forgot to mention all the great games he could enjoy himself, like AC3 and ZombiU. Then again, he owns a PS3.
