It already existed for the third time...its not a new release....
They were originally just going to keep using the Wii Classic Controller Pro but they opted for a redesign that matches the Upad.
It will no more diminish the Touch Screen Controller than the original Classic Controller diminished the Wii-Mote.
Seriously, it has the same layout as the Upad only with the features scaled down(no sensor bar, no NFS, no camera, no mic, and of course no touch screen). The only people I could see prefering this are people who just want to complain about and hate on the Upad for some reason. It adds nothing to the console. Its for people who can't get out of their old ways.
I don't plan on buying one. I already have the old classic controller which I prefer. If I find a game that works better with the old gamepads(which is doubtful) I'll just pull it out.
