People usually don't go around and rape and murder others because they find it enjoyable. They do it because they have shitty lives (probably due to poor upbringing conditions and/or mental issues. Or unexpected events that no one ever would actually choose to go through) and can't properly cope with their situation. No sane person would enjoy going around killing people or put women through abuse.

If you want to make their lives even shittier then feel free to have that opinion. I, on the other hand (along with many others), say we should put them back on track. If video games is an effective method that offers good results for the money then let it happen.

Punishing them for being unfortunate makes no sense.

This is crazy how you make assumptions. Social democrat assumptions.

That's an assumption too.

There's ton of people out there who enjoy mugging and beating random victims on the street.

Yes, but usually they are drunk. If they actually enjoy making others suffer they do have some sort of issues that needs to be dealt with.

Mass murderers like Assad, Khadaffi and Breivik had shitty lives? How do you know that?

Breivik is not a sane person. He felt no guilt or whatsoever after killing dozens of youths. Khadaffi severely lacked sympathy and killed some of his own people. If that lack of sympathy was due to having too much money and influence then granting him video games would not be an appropriate way of dealing with his issues. Remember, I said that usually they have shitty lives. If they didn't, you obviousy may need another method than, for instance, video games to stop theirabusive behavior.

Employers who use slave and child labor for their own profit have shitty lives?

It sounds like they live in a shitty country. But no, they don't necessarily have shitty lives.

All these people who beat their wife or kid have shitty lives?

They sound pretty depressed to me. You don't normally go around and beat up your family because of how much you enjoy life, or use that method to enjoy it even more.

The religious people in Pakistan who sentence rape-victims to stoning have shitty lives?

They follow their laws system, which is a completely separate issue.

Video games is obviously not always an appropriate method of rehabilitating criminals. Where did you get that from?

Bottom line: there's no right or wrong behaviour, no good or evil. All actions have a cause and it's as simple as that.

I'll cut it short. This goes back to the free will issue. Morals cease to exist.
