It may escape all the adults here.........but Nintendos main userbase is children.

Many parents only buy their children Nintendo consoles only.

What difference does having multiple audiences make? Nintendo has always had the sell of parents who buy consoles for their children as an audience. If they didn't then i would have never gotten into  gaming.

I don't get where people come from trying to pass this off as this "new" unique casual audience. All original and tradiaiton gamers were children originially. Now they get talked down about like some newfound gaming abnormality called "casuals". They are the oldest kind of gamer, not the newest.

Nintendo audience is, at least from their goals, is "everyone". They want something for every type of gamer on their console. They need to start making with the RPGS though.

On topic: I said this long ago about EA back when that one dude from EA said straight up that they were just going to use the Wii U to demo games and then bring them to smartglass if they suceed. Everyone seems to have forgotten this. They are giving us "last years" Madden Engine and a game that is a critical failure.

One thing you can be certain of is that EA is not in favor of Nintendo and does not care about their userbase, and yes I'm saying they are doing this in spite what profit the console can bring them.
