Rock Tunnel sure is Dark. Good thing I have Rol to light up the way!

The good news is, Rol learns Thunderbolt after beating up a noob's Slowpoke, so he now has a late-game moveset of Thunderbolt for Special Damage, Body Slam for Physical Damage, Thunder Wave for status ailments, and Flash to lower stats. A Jr trainer uses poisonous attacks, but I have the Antidotes to deal with it. I've been running away from all wilod battles to remain safe. Fortunately, I know my way around this place, and am able to avoid about half the trainer battles.

Before long, I get through the cave, everybody intact. Horray! I wonder where I'm going to end up nex-

Oh Arceus, it's this place.

You know the one. You always pull out your bicycle when you're in this town so you don't have to hear the music.

The music...

This place is creepy. One guy is talking about the ghosts of murdered Pokemon, there's a big creepy tower to the right, the music is... the music, and one guy tells me he can change Rol's name!

After exploring the town and healing up, I go west to capture a new BFF. I find a level 22 Pidgey named Kasz, who will serve well as a Flying type partner if the worst were to happen to Pie. Then, I beat up trainers to the north and west of town, leveling up my party and getting valuable cash. Nobody poses any real threat. Finally, I go through the tunnel to Route 7, where I find a Jigglypuff.

Before I know it, I'm already in Celadon City.

But that's all the time I have for now. So next time, I'll go exploring the city.

Hmm... I haven't seen Team Rocket in a while...
