Oh, well,in that case, cut the game loose, Nintendo! Cleary Platinum could* have (and should have, of course!) found another publisher so that Team Entitlement would have less to cry about. 

*And this is based on...gut feeling? Instinct? A cost-benefit analysis involving dev costs, marketing dollars, and the fact that Bayonetta 1 didn't blow up the charts? Inquiring minds would love to know the methodology involved at reaching this conclusion.

(Furthermore, do you think, perhaps, the franchise is *better off* on a brand-new platform where, with Nintendo pushing it, it might make a substantially larger splash? Maybe? I mean, it's at least as realistic as beliving that Platinum could have just gone off and found another publisher just like that *snap!* given the economics involved in trying to run an indy dev studio in the day and age of multi-gazillion dollar budgets.)
