What makes this especially puzzling is the softography of Firebrand Games. Before looking it up, I only knew that they made Race Driver: GRID for the DS. Pretty much all they've been doing in the last five years is making the Nintendo versions of racing games from the likes of Codemasters, Electronic Arts and Activision. Plus the handheld versions of some licensed kids games like Cars and Spongebob.

This isn't exactly a company with creative freedom, but one that works on contract.
