Did Resident Evil Revelations max out the 3DS's maximum graphics ?

It's all about the Vita.

If the PS Vita gets killed then most developers won't want to try graphic whore games because they wouldn't have worked on Vita. However of course there will be the few that just push graphics for the sake of pushing graphics. In that case the 3DS will get a few games that look much better.

If the PS Vita starts picking up speed then developers will be almost forced to push graphics by making multiplat games as equal as possible. In addition many exclusive 3DS games will feel the need to have better graphics. Graphic whore developers will however move to Vita pushing graphics just for the sake of pushing graphics on that system. In this case the 3DS will get a lot of games that look better.

If the PS Vita stays as is just barely staying alive then 3DS graphics won't get much better. Developers wanting to push graphics just for the sake of pushing graphics would develop their games mostly for Vita while good developers will keep making all around good games. The Vita graphic whore games that make the best graphics on 3DS look like finger painting will be played by so few people that the general consumer will not care. In this case 3DS graphics do get better, but not super duper better.

Or of course Nintendo and Sony could team up and make a 3DV. In that case our eyes will boil with the awesome graphics!
