Anything with a built-in clock has a battery for it.  Otherwise it wouldn't be able to keep track of the time while the system was turned off.

Yes, as do phones and tablets (separate batteries for their clocks).  The original Xbox didn't have one (I believe), which was why it often asked you to set the time when you plugged it in after being unplugged for a while.
