I bet Nintendos logic behind it was not to conenct to the WiiU as people may get to excited and pull the wiiu off the shelf when panning aroudn the room, remember hd tvs plus wii remotes initially? Also the one thing is how we currently do not know if the ac adapter has a micro usb end? if it does, surely you can purchase your own USB cable and connect it to the WiiU to charge. |
The idea i was trying to convey is that Nintendo should have included a USB charger cable instead of an AC one, or at least have the option to buy a USB charger cable so I could play the Wii U while the controller was charging.
The fact that it's a motion controller is a good point, it might be a bit of a hassle playing while plugged if one pulls the cord too hard, but that's just more of a reason to make the cord longer!
AC makes a difference because I don't have any extra AC ports near my setup, and the AC ports are also farther away from my sitting position than the Wii U would be. If we can purchase our own USB cables and play-n-charge with the tablet, I'm fine. I felt like the OP was basically saying we can't.
