Yep! Ports/Remakes are viable games to put in any category, and not just the "Favorite Port/Remake" Award.
For example, Okami is going in my favorite Action-Adventure section.

I've deleted the "Favorite Adventure Game" Award. The genre is too confusing and has very little games anyways. I'll delete them for you.
